You are going to also have a better posture as well as reducing your risks of injuring your muscles or lower back pains. Luckily, there are a variety of core exercises that you can perform in the comfort and convenience of your own home to strengthen your core area.

If you are in search of intense exercises core workouts then you could possibly consider the bridge. To perform this particular exercise, you require lying flat on your back while your knees are bent. It is essential that you keep your back relaxed such that there is no arching in your spine. Once you are in this position, tighten the abdominal muscles and slowly lift the hips off the ground such that they are aligned with both your shoulders and your knees. Hold this position for three or five seconds depending on your level of fitness and the repeat the entire process again.
